  15. The following is a list of enhancements and fixes that have been added
  16. to the Remote Access Service (RAS) version 1.1a client software for
  17. MS-DOS, Windows 3.1, and Windows for Workgroups 3.1.

  19.  - Added support for hardware (RTS\CTS) flow control to VCOMMIOD
  20.    module.
  21.  
  22.  - The MODEMS.INF file has new modems added to reflect additions made
  23.    in Windows NT RAS.
  24.  
  25.  - MCOMP.INF is a new file similar to MODEMS.INF. However, it has
  26.    hardware flow control, error correction and modem data compression
  27.    enabled for most modems.
  28.  
  29.  - This version includes a fix for problems with Internal modems
  30.    (VCOMMIOD).
  31.  
  32.  - RAS Phone now has extra response wait time for X.25 links.
  33.  
  34.  - RAS Phone retains the client name in the dialing dialog box.
  35.  
  36.  - The README file is removed and incorporated into the Windows NT 3.1
  37.    Client README file.

  39.  - RAS Phone/RAS Dial allow extra time for modem response strings
  40.    (similar to the append macro functionality in Windows NT RAS, but
  41.    works automatically).

  43. NOTE: RAS 1.1a does not support Software Compression used by Windows
  44. NT RAS. Only modem compression is supported in RAS version 1.1a.
